Dr Veronica Ajewole-Mwema is a Board Certified Oncology Clinical pharmacist with experience in establishing an oral chemotherapy clinic and clinical expertise in serving diverse cancer patient population in an outpatient cancer center at a large tertiary academic medical center located in Texas Medical Center (World's Largest Medical Center). She is the Principal Investigator and Founding Program Director on Federal, State, and local funded grants initiatives addressing health disparity, integrating community engagement into research and promoting health equity including development and implementation of Social Determinant of Health-Based intervention for prostate cancer among African American men, breast cancer prevention initiative for ethnic minority women, and Community Health Worker initiative to advance Health Equity among Ethnic Minority Population. 


Dr Ajewole-Mwema's innovative and high capacity background, conceptualization of ideas and efficient implementation of Health Equity initiatives positions her to provide realistic, proven, and evidence-based consulting services to fulfil the health equity goals of your organization.

Health equity assessments

These assessments involve analyzing data, conducting focus groups and interviews, and working with stakeholders to identify and address the root causes of health inequities within an organization or community.

Research

This may include conducting research on topics related to health equity and health disparities, such as social determinants of health, healthcare access, and policy interventions. The research may be used to inform policies and practices that can promote health equity and improve health outcomes for all.

Policy Analysis and Development

We also offer services related to policy analysis and development, including analyzing the impact of existing policies on health equity and developing recommendations for policy changes that can promote health equity.

Training

With the help of our Consulting Director Dr. Ajewole-Mwema, Community RSG offers training programs on topics such as health equity, cultural competency, and community engagement. These trainings are designed to help professionals build the skills and knowledge they need to effectively address health inequities and promote health equity in their work.
